Extended Mag Release Glock 19 - Easy to install, slightly wider and taller than OEM mag release. I installed it on my G17 Gen4 with a medium back. Before installing this extended release, I had to cut off the grip to get the mag release to work (I hold the gun very high near the bore axis). With this product, I don't have to. Installed on G19X and G17 Gen4. Easy to install. The extension makes magazine release easier, especially in the 19X. With this extension I am able to release the magazine with my thumb without having to change the grip. Great addition and doesn't get in the way of my wallet.

It's a great product. This is a polymer Mag Release, drilled to accommodate an aluminum extension. I was a little worried about that, but it fits, looks great and has had no issues yet. If the tab goes off, you still have the standard polymer button on the bottom to keep it working.

I am very happy. The magazine lock is tight and positive and the extension fits my thumb. No slope when the mag is inserted; The fit and finish is excellent. The reason I bought mine is because I like to release the mag without changing the grip and it's perfect for my medium to large sized hands and thumbs. I would buy another one if GS released it with an aggressive frame.

First, the button is drilled in the middle, so when you press the button, it will hit the frame, not release the magazine. Since it wasn't a big deal, I filed it under an acceptable accommodation. This leads to a second problem, after removing the button three times, I felt that one of the screws did not have a strong grip.

To be honest, I haven't contacted the Glock dealer about this, but I'm sure they'll take care of it.

Immediately after receiving my order I installed an extended Mag release on my Glock 19. Literally less than 10 minutes! I have to say I was a bit skeptical until I tried it. This extended mag post is great! I have had this gun for 4 years and can easily do a first time mag swap. A great addition to my favorite cherry weapon. I highly recommend it.

One thing I hate about the Glock is the magazine release. It drove me crazy because I didn't want to adjust my grip in a life and death situation. I got the cheaper extended release and it did poorly. So I bought this crying model. I have to admit that the overall quality is superior to the factors and other extended versions I got. The overall function is perfect. I couldn't ask for a better ergonomic fix on the factory version. I can't speak to the wallet release aspect. I use it as my tactical night gun. When I'm at home I keep it next to me, to end up in a wallet. I have another gun for that. I highly recommend this part. A big improvement in my overall satisfaction with the Glock 19.

Be careful. This can be a problem with some wallets. I have a G26 with an N82 Revnant IWB holster. If I lean in a chair, he will drop the magazine.

I love it so much to throw a magazine East, with this little part! But be aware that it is not illegal for the IDPA to go into the frame hole unless filed!

Extended Magazine Release For The Glock 44

Everything came as it should. It will stick out a quarter of an inch from the bottom which was bigger than I expected. However, a really good job should not adjust the handle at all, nor lose the good target product

I ordered a tear drop for my G41. Installation is easy. I like the look and the color (red). However, my problem is that it definitely goes a bit far, too far for me. I'm going to go back and get the checkered extended Mag catch, which is what I have on my 19X (and LOVE it!).

I bought this for my Glock 9 x 19 gen 3. It works great and makes it easy to drop a mag without adjusting the grip. Note that the spring is very stiff and difficult to remove from the outlet, but it's not bad if you have the right tools. I used a tooth pick tool with an L shaped bend on the end and it was easy

Extended Magazine Release For Glock Gen 4 & 5 By Bastion 9mm Mag Catch

The original magazine release was a bit small for my hands, causing me to change the grip. With this, changing magazines is not a problem. It sticks out a bit so it's easier to reach with my thumb and I don't have to change the grip. The button has some edges, so the grip is quite aggressive. This can cause some issues with concealers as the button sticks out quite a bit.

I'm not using Loctite on the screws right now because I'm trying to find some silver screws.

This mag post is installed on a g26 slide with a p80 frame. The reason I chose the teardrop over the square mag release is because the g26 p80 frame has raised grip bumps, and these plastic teardrop bumps on the frame match the teardrop release button perfectly!

Another thing to note: this button goes far enough to make most wallets unusable, however, Mr. Magill has some wallets here that take that into account and cut lower to allow for release, called the $35 and $30 wallets.

Modifying The Glock 43

To remove the mag catch spring, I use a pair of angled pliers with one of the claws bent inward, but I hear a toothpick or some type of hemostat works just as well.

The fairly legal definition makes removing the magazine easier and faster too. it is not uncomfortable to do with Conseal. The only thing that is a bit annoying is how sharp the edges are if you round them off a bit it would go away. I recommend this purchase.

I originally purchased this product at glocksden and have since returned it twice, once because the screws weren't set correctly and wouldn't tighten and twice because it was cut too short and the magazine wouldn't eject. The cost of this product is a bit higher than others, but for the quality you get and the time and hassle you save by not having to return a product multiple times, it's worth it. The mag release was easy to install, looks great, high quality, made the hard to reach mag release easier on my 3rd gen, didn't get in the way of my wallet and WORKED THE FIRST TIME. I couldn't be happier with this product.

I should start by saying that this is an awesome mag post; you can't miss this thing! At first I was worried that I would accidentally cause its size to coincide with the magazine release. However, this situation did not happen. It also works with my Safariland 6365 wallet. I don't know what kind of Hogwarts engineering magic ZT used to make such a non-disruptive mag release, but I appreciate it! Now to the unfortunate reason for the drop. The button is held in place by a small screw. If something happens to this screw (eg, it shears or gets lost), the benefits of the oversized release will be lost. I'm a big fan of redundancy when it can be applied effectively, so this is a point of failure.
