extended mag release glock

Extended Mag Release Glock - The Zev Technologies Extended Release and Trading Magazine for Glock® is easy to install and machined from Billet Aluminum, then hard anodized. This issue of the magazine is a must for every Glock® owner. CNC aircraft quality billet aluminum. Hard Black Anodized Mag Release Body. Textured button face. Solid black anodizing button or non-anodized silver button. Drop by replacement. ZEV parts always embody design, feel and performance.

I originally purchased this product at the global product store and have since returned it twice, once because the screws were not set and tightened properly and twice because it was cut too short and the magazine would drop. The price of this product is a bit more than some others, but for the quality you get and the time and hassle you save by not having to return the product multiple times, it's worth it. This mag release was easy to install, nice looking, high quality, made it easy to access the hard to find mag release on my gen 3, doesn't mind my holster WORKS FIRST TIME. I couldn't be happier with this product.

Extended Mag Release Glock

I should start by saying that this is an amazing release mag; you can't miss this thing! I was initially concerned that its size would cause me to inadvertently engage the mag release. However, this scenario did not materialize. It also works with my Safariland holster 6365. I don't know what Hogwarts engineering magic ZT used to create such a huge mag release that doesn't interfere with operation, but I appreciate it! Now to the unfortunate reason for the downgrade. The knob is held in place by a small screw. If something happens to this screw (eg, it shears or disappears), the benefits of the over-relief are lost. I'm a big fan of redundancy when it can be applied effectively, so this is one point of failure. You can still operate a shotgun without the oversized thumb button, but it comes at the cost of reduced functionality. I am writing this from experience! Consider machining another screw into the device or adding an additional one to the kit.

Modifying The Glock

I am in the process of building a Polymer 80 frame.I was surprised to find a Zev Extended Mag Release at a price that fit my budget, glad I did. The overall design is perfect for me. The button is perfectly placed over the release and the button feels good on my thumb, no slippage and it didn't feel bulky on my thumb.

I plan to build another building after this one is finished and get my money back. I'm going to add another Zev mag edition to that build, maybe with a color change.

Just received my ZEV EXTENDED MAG RELEASE FOR 1ST-3RD GEN, SMALL, UK. It was super easy to install and made loading fast. I have no problem carrying my case (Sidecar) at all. It will not release until pressed even while driving. Thank you Zev.

Tear Drop Extended Magazine Release

I bought this for one of my carry guns thinking it would be like the Gen 4 extended edition mag which is the best I have ever owned. I like this a lot and it sticks out too far. I imagine it would be great for competition firearms, but not practical for my EDC stuff.

I had to buy this for 2 reasons, #1 is because it serves its purpose. And the second is because it looks amazing!

For the party that said it was "very widened" at least my G34 is no more than maybe 1/16" proud of the stock statement; maybe Gen 4 are different here. If I have a grip it is more grippy than a stock, it takes more pressure to drop the mag, but over time I'm sure it will polish or the frame will polish.

Extended Mag Release Glock

I no longer have to change my grip to drop a mag, the only thing I don't like is that my mags don't lock into place unless I charge them really hard. Most of the time it's not a huge problem, but it's a defensive firearm, so there's always the possibility of having to reload one hand which can be difficult. Fits well in my We The People IWB holster for Glock 13 gen 3.

Ghost Ext Mag Release For Glk Gen4

Superior design, materials and workmanship. Easy dropdowns to speed up mage changes in competition. I wish Zev would make one 2-3mm shorter to give service pistols better thumb purchase during emergency reloads. I would buy this again!** This will ONLY fit Gen4 models: 17, 19, 22, 23, 26, 27, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 37, 38, 39**

I installed it on my G17 Gen4 with a medium rear strap. Before installing this extended release, I had to break my grip to activate the mag release (I grip the gun very high close to the axis of the bore). With this product, I don't need to. Mental Note: Add location of both screws in case they come loose. It's pretty solid so far. As usual, very fast delivery, thank you.

Installed on G19X and G17 Gen4. Easy to install. The extension makes it easy to issue the magazine, especially on the 19X. With this extension I can release a magazine with my thumb without having to change my grip. Great accessory and I don't mind the case either.

Extended Mag Release Glock

A great button for quick mag changes, especially for those of us with large hands who struggle to depress the factory spindle release. This is a must have accessory for any Glock!

Magazine Advanced Release System (mars) For Glocks

This is a great product. It is a polymer Mag release that has been drilled to take the aluminum extension. I was a little worried about it, but it fits great, looks great and I haven't had any issues yet. If the tab isn't done, you still have the default polymer button below so it will still work.

Very happy with mine. The magazine catch is tight and positive, and the extension fits my thumb perfectly. There is no fall at all when the bag is put on; fit and finish are excellent. The reason I bought mine was because I wanted to release the bag without moving the grip and this was perfect for my medium to large sized hands and fat fingers. I'd buy another if GS released one with an aggressive check.

First, the button was drilled from the center, so when the button was pressed, it hit the frame, not releasing the magazine. Since it wasn't a big deal, I put it on the underside to get an acceptable fit. This brings up the second problem, after removing the button three times, I could feel that one of the screws was not holding as tightly.

To be fair, I didn't contact the Glock shop about this, but I'm sure they would have taken care of it.

Vickers Tactical Ext. Mag Release

I just received my order and immediately installed the extended edition mag on my Glock 19. It literally took me less than 10 minutes! I have to say I was a little skeptical until I tried it. This extended edition mag is fantastic! I have carried this gun for 4 years and for the first time I can easily do a mag swap. A great addition to my favorite cherry weapon. I highly recommend it.

One thing I hated about the Glock was the ergonomics of the magazine release. It drives me crazy because I don't want to adjust my grip in a life and death situation. I got a cheaper extended release and it sucked. That's why I bought this teardrop model. I have to admit the overall quality is better than the other factor and extended edition I had. The overall function is perfect. Honesty couldn't ask for a better ergonomic solution to factory release. I can't speak to the release aspect of the holster. I only use it as my tactical night gun. I keep him by my side
