After returning to the airport from each mission, you complete a descent down the runway at high speed and low altitude. During your debriefings, your instructor will give you an overview of your achievements, play a video of the flight for everyone, and finish with a well-deserved "Nerves of Steel" award and a "Hero" photo. Your videos are included and additional fighter jet gear is available for purchase. We offer the most realistic, challenging and fun aerial combat experience available in the industry. Our real military fighter pilots will provide each participant with authentic tactical instruction, aerial combat experience, formation, high-speed low-altitude overflights and comprehensive debriefing. You will take control of several real fights against your opponent. Only missiles are simulated. All missions are flown in the Extra 300L, the most powerful aerobatic aircraft in the world, equipped with sight, smoke and dual controls. Air combat missions are only available at our AZ location at the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport in Mesa, Arizona.

Become the "Top Gun" by emerging victorious from our advanced air combat mission. No experience is required for this flight profile, but be prepared to show us what you've got. This experience includes everything included in the Introduction to Air Combat program, plus 3 point competitions for the prestigious "Top Gun", "Aero God" and "G-Monger" awards, as well as unlimited aerobatics.
When you book you will receive an air combat tactics manual to study before your adventure. Upon arrival at our squadron, you will be greeted by our friendly staff, receive your own leather call sign and don your flight gear. After a thorough introduction to modern tactical air maneuvers, you and your combat instructor pilot will be strapped into the aircraft for your mission.
The flight profile begins with a formation take-off to a practice area where you warm up with advanced controls, weapons use and basic aerobatic maneuvers. The first five g-pull dogfights follow a show & dos profile using both offensive and defensive tactics against your opponent. Then "The fight is on!" for three adrenaline neutral direct clashes against opponents. The mission culminates in breaking away from the opponent and unlimited acrobatics under the guidance of the instructor. An exciting formation of high-speed low pass down the runway marks your arrival at the base. Instructors provide an overview of the mission and play both videos simultaneously so everyone can see the flight firsthand. Your video is included and other FCI gear is available for purchase.
You fly in this 30-minute air-to-air combat mission! On this mission, you can live the dream of learning to be a fighter pilot without the commitment of years of military service. You will learn the basics of modern combat maneuvering in the air, both offensive and defensive, and engage in real air-to-air combat.

After a full briefing on tactical air maneuvers, you and your combat pilot instructor will be strapped into the aircraft for your mission.
The flight profile begins with a formation takeoff to a training area where you warm up with advanced handling, weapons use and basic aerobatic maneuvers. Then it's "Check six!" while flying a 5 g-drag air duel in the Show and Do profile using offensive and defensive tactics against your opponent. The flight culminates in an exciting three-dimensional smoke chase, with each aircraft alternating between "lead and follow" positions in the sky. An exciting high-speed, low-altitude formation pass down the runway marks your arrival. The mission is informed by recreating your tactical flight with multi-view video and in-flight notes that evaluate shots and tactics. Your video is on. A leather callsign and other FCI gear is available for purchase.
Earn the Fighter Combat International Squadron designation by becoming a member of a squadron. This two-day adventure includes two air combat missions: Introduction to Air Combat and Advanced Air Combat Mission. Each event has dedicated ground training, a hands-on air combat mission with one of our fighter pilots, formation flying, ground video debriefing, a completion pack and a signed hero photo with your pilot. After returning to the airport from each flight, two aircraft make a high-speed formation pass along the runway.
Missions are reported by replaying your tactical flights with multiple video and pilot in-flight notes that evaluate footage and tactics. While you and your friends watch the video, the instructor will complete your paperwork, sign your photo, and arrange everything you'll need.
